Lexar has announced a new version of its FireFly flash drive with 16GB of storage space. The drive is very small physically and still provides lots of storage space to carry large files and applications. The FireFly is also available in capacities of 1GB, 2GB, and 4GB.

The drive includes a keychain hole to make carrying easy. A removable cap keeps the USB connector safe when not in use. The drive also features a blue LED that blinks during data transfer. Windows users also get a 30-day trial of Dmailer V7 for synchronizing of email from Outlook and Outlook Express.

Darrell Hill, senior product marketing manager at Lexar Media, noted: "The new 16GB JumpDrive FireFly drive is a bold new step in storage for Lexar.
