Sony is now shipping a dock for VAIO laptop computers that features built-in DisplayLink Graphics Technology. The dock is called the VGP-UPR1 and can connect a DVI or analog display to the notebook via a single USB connection.

The USB connection is able to support display resolutions up to 1600 x 1200. The dock is universal and works with all VAIO notebooks and other notebook brands.
