One of the most popular games to hit store shelves for the fall and holiday shopping season is Rock Band 2. The newest installment of the Rock Band franchise is destined to be a smash hit. The good news for holiday shoppers this year is that if you already own the original Rock Band game, you need only the game for Rock Band 2. The controllers that shipped with the original Rock Band box set will work perfectly.
Like the original game, there will be a special edition bundle that provides the game, mic, drums, and guitarcontroller. The drums for Rock Band 2 are much more desirable than the ones for the original. The new set is wireless and has quieter drumheads.
The limited edition bundle will retail for $189. The game or bundle is available now for the Xbox 360 with versions for PS3, Wii and PS2 set to launch next week. Rock Band was hard to find during the holidays in some locations so you might want to buy the new game early. Rock Band 2 also has a massive set list with great tracks.
Rock Band 2 is perfect for fans of the original Rock Band, Guitar Hero or any other music game. Rock Band 2 will also be a great game for anyone looking for an interesting game for a party.

The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
