Palm Pre Release Date Announcement on May 19th?

The release of the Palm Pre draws closer and more evidence actually supports the June 7th release date. The Best Buy inventory screens showing the Palm Pre accessories with a in-stock date of May 10th got updated according to Engadget to June 7th.
Boy Genius Report on the other hand just reports about an apparently solid rumor that Sprint and Palm will make a big announcement in the Wall Street Journal on May 19th.
I do not think Palm and Sprint will launch the Palm Pre on May 19th, but possibly the will start taking pre-orders and finally announce the Palm Pre pricing.
You can bet that Walt Mossberg is already testing the Palm Pre and will have a review ready to go possibly already on May 19th - we will see.
