Apple released Thursday evening a new iTunes 8.0.2 update that is offering improvements in the accessibilty area. Update: iPhone 2.2 Details available
Update: iPhone 2.2 software update just got released too according to Engadget.
According to AppleInsider iTunes 8.0.2 improves accessibility with VoiceOver, an Apple-developed technology that aids visually impaired users by reading aloud the contents of files.
The iTunes software update also indicates that an iPhone update is imminent. The anticipated iPhone 2.2 software update that could therefore be released today.
The iPhone 2.2 software update is supposed to add mobile access to podcasts, changes in the App store, Google Street View enhancements, and more. More details about the iPhone 2.2 software can be found on AppleInsider.
