The iPhone is the most popular smartphone around and it seems ads for it are everywhere. According to the Advertising Standards Authority, some of the ads went too far.

The ASA upheld 17 complaints that ads for the iPhone that exaggerated the speed the device could work. The ads claimed that the device could "download pretty much anything, really fast."
Apple says the claims were in comparison to the original iPhone, but the ASA says Apple failed to specify that claim. There is no word on what exactly this means. Apple may simply have to change its ads.
