I'm taking the CES 2009 launch date with a grain of salt. Sure, NVIDIA could announce at CES 2009. However, they are not traditionally into announcing new products at the show. Still if rumors hold true the card will have a pair of 55nm GPUs with 480 stream processors, 896-bit memory bus, and 1792MB of DDR3 memory, which are not the GTX 260, or GTX 280 GPUs.
Specifications like price, clock speeds, and other details are not known at this time. CES is mere weeks away, so we should know directly. Rumor says that the card will launch on January 8th, day one of the show.
