The new Nikon Coolpix S6000 has 14.2 megapixels for stunning prints as large as 20 x 30 inches. The stylish compact camera combines ultra fast start-up time, the powerful reach of a 7x zoom, and a variety of automated shooting functions that utilize the picture quality and performance benefits of Nikon’s innovative EXPEED digital image-processing concept. The sleek design and beautiful color allows you to take amazing pictures with an amazing camera.

Nikon has managed to pack a 14.2 megapixel image sensor and a precision 7x zoom into the thinnest body in its class. It also uses the Nikkor ED glass lens which optimizes the picture taking experience. The Coolpix S6000 also has high-speed auto focus performance and an ultra-fast start-up time within approximately 0.75 seconds which allows you to never miss an important shot while waiting for your camera to start up.

The Coolpix S6000 features a high quality 2.7-inch Clear Color Display for an ultra wide-viewing angle, anti-reflection coating, and screen brightness adjustment. The Coolpix S600 also uses Nikon’s Smart Portrait System which includes such functions as Skin Softening to give a smooth skin tone on your subjects face. It also features Face-priority AF which helps you take the best picture possible by adjusting focus and exposure. Other great functions are Smile Timer to ensure you get a smile every time and Blink Warning that alerts you that the subject has blinked.
