The catch is that many want an extended service plan when they buy from Circuit City. Assurant Solutions is one of the firms that sells extended service plans through the defunct retailer. Assurant Solutions has said that it will stand behind any extended service plans that Circuit City sells consumers.
The service plans are known as the Circuit City Advantage service plan. The service plans will be managed directly by Assurant once Circuit City closes its doors. That means there is one less reason for you to not visit Circuit City while it is closing up shop.
