Sony has finally launched the XEL-1 OLED TV in Europe and the TV will be available for purchase later this week. As in Japan and the US, the big problem with the tiny 11-inch set is the price.
In Europe, the set will retail for £3490, equivalent to $4926 USD. In America, the set costs about $2500, making the European price almost twice as expensive. My suggestion is to have an American friend send you one if you want one badly enough.
