This hand help GPS is a great navigational tool while hiking or on the lake. Its 60Sx’s 2.6 inch, 256-color TFT color display is designed to present mapping and trip information clearly and accurately in any lighting conditions. The Garmin 60CSx features a lightweight, rugged, and water resistant (can be submerged in one meter of water for 30 minute). When using two AA Alkaline batteries, you’ll get a good 20 hours of battery life from the GPS system.

You get 64MB microSD card for storage of optional map detail with preprogrammed micro SD cards you get topographic maps, city streets and nautical charts. It comes with preloaded marine point database. And you can get turn-by turn directions when you’re driving. The trip computer gives you odometer, stopped time, moving average, overall average, total time, max speed and much more.

Another key feature of the Garmin GPS 60CSx is the 10,000 point automatic track log. It features 20 saved tracks (500 points each) let you retrace your path in both directions. There are also large-number option for easy viewing, as well as a dual-position display mode. It’s also packed with some fun features such as the outdoor calendar which provides ideal hunting and fishing times, plus moon rise/set/location information. There is a dedicated geocaching mode for those of you into the hot GPS community treasure hunt game. This is a great system that would be perfect for the outdoors man or women in your life.
