MSI unveils the Creative X-Fi audio supporting Xtreme Audio Card calling it out as the only X-Fi card offering true hardware decoding.
The solution includes an original Creative DSP, DAC, ADC audio decoder chip as well as its optimized Creative software solution.
The benefit of true hardware sound decoding is to not loose any CPU power for game-play, movie, multimedia, or any other and entertainment enjoyment.
MSI is very proud of not making any compromises with their X-Fi card. What I could not find out yet is the cost of the card, which is an important factor. More details in this MSI announcement.
