iPhone 3.0 Beta Firmware Screenshots show the new Goods

The iPhone 3.0 beta version got distributed right away after the iPhone 3.0 firmware preview to developers. It did not take long for a wealth of screenshots to appear showing the new features of the upcoming iPhone 3.0 OS.
Apple Insider published a nice selection of iPhone 3.0 screens showing the new features including Copy and Paste, MMS, Spotlight search and the somewhat graphically over the top voice memo app.
The new iPhone 3.0 brings a wealth of new stuff. The 1,000 new API function might be the basis for a lot more cool applications that go way beyond fart simulation. Update: Engadget published a video walkthrough of the iPhone 3.0 beta.
