The series performs up to 91% faster for sequential write workloads and up to 29% faster for sequential read workloads compared to previous generation Dell storage arrays. The PS6000 series is the first Dell EqualLogic array to use SSDs at an affordable price.
The series can support over 500TB of storage per PS series group. List pricing for the PS6000 line starts at $17,000. Not exactly, what I would consider affordable. The PS6000 model with SSDs starts at $25,000.
