Apple always stated that the new OS X update will focus on stability, performance and security. Now the rumors that Snow Leopard is indeed getting a major UI update are raised again by Apple Insider.
The new Snow Leopard UI is really supposed to be called Marble as rumored already back in January.
The new UI is possibly part of the next developer build of Snow Leopard.
It would not be wise for Apple to not have a new fancy UI in Snow Leopard. Snow Leopard needs to make Windows 7 look outdated to hurt Microsoft's OS roll-out.
