Microsoft Offers Students Big Office Savings

Buy microsoft office from Amazon Cyber Monday and Black Friday Now

Microsoft makes most of its money from its Windows operating system and from Microsoft Office productivity suite. If you think Windows is expensive, you have probably never priced the full feature versions of Office, which can run nearly $700.

Microsoft has announced what it calls the Ultimate Steal Promotion that is targeting 12 historically black colleges and universities along with Hispanic student organizations at other schools in the US. With the program, discount students can get Microsoft Ultimate 2007 Suite for $59.99.

That price is a massive 91% discount from the normal selling price of $679.95. While the discount is target at students of specific ethnicity, I would assume any students at the schools where the deals are being offered could get the same price regardless of skin color.
