Corsair Voyager Port Gets Official

Back at the beginning of the month I talked a bit about the Corsair Voyager Port that was introduced at CeBIT in Germany. The device takes a normal USB flash drive and makes it a fully automated backup solution. Corsair says that the device will work with any flash drive, not Corsair drives alone.

The device includes backup software called NovaBackup 10 and after the software is installed, all you need to do is press the button on the Voyager Port to start your back up. The device will work best with a large capacity flash drive if you are backing up lots of data.

Corsair says that the device needs no power adapter and gets all the power it needs from the single USB connection it needs with the computer. Corsair doesn’t offer pricing or availability information on the product, but I expect it to be cheap.
