The watch will be available on its own or bundled with a waterproof, soft strap heart rate monitor expected to be available this summer. The 310XT blends wireless connectivity and wireless synchronization through ANT+ technology working with Garmin heart rate monitors and foot pods as well as third part health equipment.
The watch has a large display for easy viewing and is waterproof to 50 meters. The watch has optional quick release bike mounts. Things like transition times can be measured and the watch can alert users via vibration or visual stimulation.
