Japanese notebook exporter Dynamism is holding a special pre-order event for the hot viliv S5 MID.
The viliv S5 is a Intel Atom powered Mobile Internet Device (MID) running Windows XP. The small device features a 4.8 inch WSVGA touchscreen, 60GB HDD, 1GB RAM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
The viliv S5 measures 6.0 x 3.3 x 0.96 inches
( 154(W) x 84(H) x 24.4(T) mm) and weighs 0.92 lbs (420g) with battery.
Dynamism said that the viliv S5 was introduced in Korea a couple of weeks ago and the initial production of 1,000 units sold out the first day.
viliv is apparently playing it safe when it comes to the number of devices they produce. viliv is not Acer after-all.
Dynamism is offering the viliv S5 for $599 including free spare battery, car kit, and leather pouch.
To get your hands on a viliv S5 you can pre-order it starting at 1pm eastern time on April 27th on Dynamism.
