The small LCD acts as the track pad and can reportedly recognize handwriting as well for emailing and other functions. Once you get past the strange LCD, the remainder of the netbook is what you expect to find.
The rig uses an Intel Atom N270, 1GB of RAM, a 10.2-inch 1024 x 600 resolution screen, 160GB HDD, three USB ports, and integrated Bluetooth. Availability and pricing for the U.S. are unknown. The pricing for the machine in Japan is 80,000 yen or about $815. Pass.
