Legendary NFL commentator John Madden may be retiring from announcing football, but the hugely popular video game franchise carrying his name will live on. EA has announced that the cover athletes for the coming Madden NFL 10 have been announced.

The two athletes on the cover of the game are the Arizona Cardinals Larry Fitzgerald and Pittsburgh Steelers Troy Polamalu. The game is set to hit store shelves on Friday, August 14. EA says that this is the first time in the history of the franchise that two athletes have been on the cover of the game.

EA says that Larry Fitzgerald will b e the second athlete in history to have been on the covers of both the NCAA Football and Madden NFL games. Fitzgerald was on the cover of NCAA Football 2005. The game will be available on the PS3, Xbox, and Wii.
