Whilst in the States recently I got to try the video on demand streaming service Hulu.com and was really impressed by it and was upset that I could not get to use it in the UK.
Well there is a strong possibility that's about to change with the company purchasing loads of content from UK companies such as Digital Rights Group and Endemol. The Digital Rights Group owns shows such as Green Wing, Peep Show, and Doc Martin, whilst Endemol produces Big Brother and Deal or no Deal. Their has been no timescale given for this project to take place but Senior Vice President of Content Acquisition, Andy Forssell has stated that "They are in talks with the top six to eight markets". ITV and the BBC have also been in talks with Hulu.
Hulu has some big names as shareholders like Disney and Fox and I am sure they would like to see Hulu becoming a global brand.

About the Geek Mind
The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.
The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
