When Spore first launched I spent lots of time playing it on my PC. Several people I know that don’t even play computer games also really enjoyed the game. Spore was only offered on PC and the Nintendo Wii and EA has announced new titles coming to the Wii and DS soon.

This fall Spore Hero for the Wii and Hero Arena for the DS will launch. EA says that Spore Hero provides the creative freedom that players enjoyed in the original Spore game in a story driven action game. Players create their own hero and set off to save their world from destruction.

The player can evolve his character with new parts and abilities as the game progresses. Spore Hero Arena for the DS allows players to enjoy a galaxy with fun arena combat. Players create a unique gladiator hero and guide it from planet to planet fighting enemies.
