The handsets will also be sold in smaller packages that reduce the materials needed and the phones will use less power as well. The C901 is a basic phone with a 5MP camera and support for 3G service.
The Naite is even lower spec with a 2MP camera and a 2.2" LCD. The greener handsets are part of Sony Ericsson's plan to go green. The company says using less packaging has saved it 100 million euros in under a year.
