Both cameras feature 16x optical zoom with Advanced Optical Image Stabilization. The OIS featured in the camera also features an active mode that works to prevent shake while walking. The LCD screen on the cameras is also touch sensitive.
The camcorders are ready to use in 1.9 seconds so you can catch the events as they happen. A Pre-rec feature continuously records 3 seconds of images onto the internal buffer so you don’t miss any action. Other features include built-in video light and flash and a highlight playback feature. The HDC-SD10 will sell for $549.95, the HDC-TM10 will sell for $599.95, and both will launch in September.
