Last October Nokia unveiled with the 5800 XpressMusic their first touchscreen phone. Today Nokia announced the new Nokia 5530 XpressMusic that follows in the footsteps of the Nokia 5800.
Nokia highlights in the 5530 the 'scrolling' Contacts Bar, which provides direct access to 20 people and their latest conversations and media updates. Additionally the homescreen also features one touch shortcuts to content and popular social networks, like Facebook and MySpace.
Other features of the new Nokia 5530 XpressMusic include 2.9 inch widescreen touchscreen display, 7 hours of music playback time, Wi-Fi, EDGE (no 3G), a 4 GB memory card is bundled, 3.2-megapixel camera and LED flash,
The Nokia 5530 XpressMusic is expected to begin shipping in the third quarter of 2009 at an estimated retail price of EUR 199 (~$276) before taxes and subsidies. Nokia offers the 5530 in a solid stainless steel frame finish and comes in five vivid colors.
