The monitor has a 24-inch screen and can operate as a standalone video conferencing solution or as a PC LCD. The device uses V2oIP and is fully compatible with other VoIP systems and SIP based multipoint control units.
The Samsung VC240 will be available this fall for a MSRP of $1,999 through Samsung resellers. That hardly seems like a cheap system to me when you can get a $60 Logitech webcam and use the new Vid software that is free I talked about earlier.
