The Canon VIXIA HF200 HD Flash Memory Camcorder offers lots of excitement and high-quality imaging power into its small, lightweight body. With its SuperRange Optical Image Stabilizer, Genuine Canon 15x HD Video Lens, Canons latest DIGIC DV III Image Processor and 3.89-megapixel Full HD CMOS Image Sensor, it captures brightly colored, realistically detailed high definition video and photos. The removable SDHC memory card gives the ease of recording. It uses an RGB Primary Color Filter with Bayer Placement Pattern that separates light into red, green and blue color components. For viewing images with minimal flare and ghosting, it uses Super Spectra Coating technology. The 24Mbps recording capability of the product gives you the highest quality AVCHD video possible.

Canon VIXIA HF200 HD Flash Memory Camcorder is also equipped with a 3.3-megapixel digital camera, Pixela ImageMixer 3SE Video Editing Software and an intelligent Lithium-ion Battery. The 2.7-inch Multi-Angle Vivid Widescreen LCD on the product allows you see more of what your camcorder is recording. As it is compatible with Canon's DW-100 DVD Burner, you can easily burn DVDs of the video shot with your VIXIA HF200. It also has a USB 2.0 Hi-Speed Terminal for ultra-fast transfer of movies and photos.

Pros
The HF200 is great for tripod shots during the day and its menu is reasonably easy to use. It is very lightweight and small bringing the ease and convenience of Flash Memory. Its zoom range is very good as well as the battery usage is very acceptable.

Cons
According to user reviews the Canon VIXIA HF200 included software is not good; and the placement of USB output plug is very inconvenient. Its auto focus system fails to operate in dim lighting as well as the three output jacks are placed in 3 different locations. Very unreliable USB interface; very poor noise levels; and poor color saturation are other drawbacks.
