Back to school will be here before you know it and its time for many students heading off to college to start buying those big ticket items they will need to succeed like laptops. Best Buy has announced a new exclusive line of laptops that will be offered in its stores called the Next Class.

The laptops were created through partnerships with HP, Toshiba, Sony, and Dell. The machines are the result of customer input that puts the most value on notebooks with extended battery life, low weight, portable design, personalized setup, full virus protection, preloaded with software, and an affordable price.

The series has prices from $649.99 to $799.99 and are ready out of the box with full versions of Microsoft Office Home & Student along with 12 to 15 months of antivirus protection. The machines weight between 5 and 6 pounds and have screens 14 o 15.5-inches. Battery life for the notebooks is from three to six hours.
