Nokia has a new tablet on the way, and from the sound of things it's going to be one of the hottest gadget offerings coming out this next year. CrunchMobile has already given a thorough overview of this tablet, which is known as either the N900, the Rover, or the RX-51. Whatever it's real name is, the Rover comes with a 3.5” WVGA touchscreen, 5 MP camera with a Carl Zeiss lens, 1GB virtual runtime memory, 32 GB of internal storage, and a host of other nice specs.
The N900 has just recently passed FCC investigation and, if TmoNews is right, it might be hitting the T-Mobile network soon. This new Nokia tablet will be 3G enabled, and powered by Maemo 5. TmoNews noted that it has a front facing speaker, which means that this pseudo-tablet could also end up being a juiced up smartphone.
There's no info on pricing or a release date yet, but more news about this perky superphone should be leaking out over the next couple of days. Nokia hasn't exactly been very good at keeping a lid on this gadget so far.
