The Tuff-clip line of flash drives is packed inside a plastic housing designed to protect the sensitive internal components from shocks and drops. The USB connector is retractable to protect it from breakage and damage. The back of the drive enclosure has a clip for attaching the drive to backpacks or belt loops.
Verbatim ships the drive with password security software for Windows computers to protect sensitive data in a zone requiring a password for access. The software is only for Windows computers, but the drive itself is compatible with Mac and Linux systems as well. The 4GB drive sells for $29.99 and the 8GB drive sells for $49.99.
