One of the things that many have been wondering about was the pricing that Sprint would attach to the 4G service it offers in a few cities around the country. Two of the most recent additions to the Sprint 4GWiMax locations was Las Vegas and Portland, Oregon.
Sprint announced today that it's 4G service offering download speeds of over 10 Mbps peak and 3-6 Mbps on average is now available for consumers in these cities to use for only $10 per month more than its 3G service.
That should make plans for 4G in these cities available for about $70 per month. Sprint has several 4G devices coming to market this year including a data card, embedded laptops, and a 4G mobilephone. At this point only dual-mode 3G and 4G modems are available.

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.
The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
