The Gamescom 2009, which took place last week in Cologne, Germany has been quite a success. The organizers report 245,000 visitors. The organizers say that the Gamescom is now the largest game trade fair in the world.
As reported Sony used the new Gamescom to announce the Sony PS3 Slim, which is actually already shipping tomorrow, one week earlier than announced.
Besides Sony, 457 companies from 31 countries have exhibited at the Gamescom 2009.
The Gamescom 2010 will take place in Cologne from August 18 - 22 2010, but our eyes are set on the next video game trade-show in Japan: TGS 2009. The TGS 2009 will start on 24th of September.
