Somehow I have the feeling Christmas shopping is starting darn early this year. Sony has started to ship the new Sony PS3 Slim this week and Microsoft just cut the Xbox 360 pricing to stay in the game. The new Zune HD is shipping already next month and the new Sony PSP Go can be in your hands on October 1st.
The only reason to hold back on buying the above hot fall gadgets now is Black Friday, but it is still 3 months away. Exactly three month from today actually. Black Friday 2009 is this year on November 27th.
You can get three months of usage onto a PS3 Slim, which is possibly worth more than some bundled games and a gift card that you can expect as a Sony PS3 Black Friday Deal.
If you are looking to get the above items as gifts than waiting for the Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Cyber Monday Deals makes sense.
There will still be plenty of new product announcements before we arrive at the real beginning of the Holiday Shopping Season 2009. Next stop is supposedly September 9th, where Apple is rumored to introduce new iPods. In October we will get an onslaught of new Windows 7 PCs, Netbooks and Notebooks.
Like the years before we will guide you with extensive coverage to the best Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2009 deals. Update: Black Friday 2009 Deal Predictions.
