Apple iPod Event Official: Sept 9 Is The Date

We have confirmation that this year's Apple music event will be held on September 9. Gizmodo reports that the official invitations are out, and that the show will start at 10:00 AM Pacitic, 1:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. That's all the info we've got, but the photo sent out with the invitation shows the now-classic image of someone rocking out with their iPod. I don't think there's an ounce of doubt in anyone's mind what's going to be unveiled at this event. New iPods are coming, so you Apple fanatics had better get those checkbooks ready.
