Apple Store Down and It Is Tuesday, New iMacs? [Update]

The Apple Store is down. It was also down 9 days ago on a Sunday. But today is Tuesday, which can be taken as the basis for some hope that Apple is actually launching new products. On the other hand only the US Apple Store is down. The European stores are up.

Current rumors swirl around new updated Apple iMacs and new budget MacBooks.
What I really want to see is Core i7 and Core i5 based Apple MacBooks and iMacs. The Windows camp is getting the high-end Core i7 mobile notebooks out the door right now. Let's see if Apple is jumping on the leading edge of Intel CPUs as well.
Check the Apple Store. Update: US Apple Store back online and there is nothing new.
