Select Dell desktop and notebook computers shipping in the US, UK, and Germany will offer the free music service. Some Dell PCs purchased at Best Buy in the US will also be sold with a Napster icon on the desktop offering access to the Napster catalog.
“People want the ability to personalize their PCs, and music is a great way for them to do that,” said Retina Bhasin, GM Strategic Partnerships, Dell consumer. “Dell is now making it easier than ever for customers to enjoy their favorite music by downloading MP3s of their choice, as well as discover new music with streaming from Napster’s vast music collection.”
