Zhu Zhu Pets Shopping Guide

As reported before Cepia has started a big Holiday toy craze with the Zhu Zhu Pets. The cute interactive hamsters are already in limited supply months ahead of Christmas. Prices on eBay are already multiples of the normal list prices.
I have been monitoring the stock situation of the four available Zhu Zhu Hamsters and the long list of available Zhu Zhu Playsets and there is actually a real chance to get your hands on Zhu Zhu Pets at normal prices if you check online shops regularly or track them for stock updates.
Below you find a list of retailers that carry Zhu Zhu Pets and playsets. But before you run off, lets have a look at what is all available from Cepia right now:

Zhu Zhu Hamsters:
There are four Zhu Zhu Hamsters in different colors each with unique personalities sounds available: Pip Squeak (Yellow), Chunk (White), Num Nums (Grey) and Mr. Squiggles (Brown).

Zhu Zhu Playsets:
Just to get a Hamster is not enough. To actually have some fun you need to also buy one or more playset.
Available Playsets include: Zhu Zhu Pets Hamster Funhouse, Hamster Car and Garage, Hamster Wheel and Tunnel, Skateboard & U-Turn Ramp, Surfboard & Sleep Dome, Spiral Slide & Ramp, Go Go Adventure ball, Hamster Carrier & Blanket and Hamster Bed & Blanket.

The Zhu Zhu Pets have an age rating of 4+. The hamsters have little wheels and there is danger that a child’s hair could get caught by winding around a wheel. Also a warning of small part hazard. Read the Zhu Zhu FAQs to learn more.

The normal price of a Zhu Zhu Hamster is between $8 and $11.99. The playsets have different prices. The Funhouse should sell for $20, while the ball and the surfboard have a $10 price tag normally.

Update:
ToysRUs will have tens of thousands of Zhu Zhu Pets in stock starting Black Friday.

Walmart
Lowest Hamster price at $8. Did not catch it in stock over the last days.

Target
Target only lists four Zhu Zhu Playsets.

eToys
eToys offers several Zhu Zhu Pets playsets and gift sets.

eBay
Same high prices like on Amazon 3rd party, but several complete packages are listed that get you everything from Zhu Zhu Pets in one order. Price is of course high, but these packages save a lot of hassle.
