JVC unveiled today the JVC PICSIO GC-FM1 pocket camcorder to compete with the Flip.
The stylish JVC PICSIO GC-FM1 shoots true 8MP stills and 1080p Full HD video.
JVC also packed an image stabilizer and a 4x digital zoom into the Picsio.
Videos are recorded in MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 format and stored as .MOV files on SD/SDHC cards.
Other features of the JVC GC-FM1 include direct video upload to iTunes and YouTube, USB port (also for charging), and 2-inch color screen.
Via an HDMI port you can directly watch videos and photos shot with the PICSIO.
The JVC Picsio line comes in Black Ice, Blue Steel and Purple Passion. The JVC Picsio GC-FM1 is available now for $199.95. The JVC Picsio camcorders are already on sale on Amazon for only $179.95.
