Verizon Wireless started officially teasing their new iPhone killer Motorola Droid over the weekend.
If you want to see the Motorola Droid in the wild and get some first hand impressions, BoyGeniusReport has you covered. BGR got their hands on a brand new Verizon Motorola Droid early and published several photos as well as unannounced details.
The Motorola Droid has a slide-out keyboard but is only slightly thicker than the iPhone - sounds cool.
As far as performance, the Motorola Droid is the fastest Android phone BGR ever tested. BGR is impressed of the Android 2.0 performance on the Droid, which uses the TI OMAP3430 CPU. It looks like the Android camp finally has a winner on their side.
The screen is nice and big and the QWERTY keyboard is pretty usable says BGR.
Verizon Wireless is expected to launch the new Motorola Droid by the end of October.
