Apple unveiled the new iMac line for Fall 2009 yesterday. The obvious highlight is the new 27-inch LED backlit screen in the top two lines of the new iMac line. The new 21.5-inch are for those who get overwhelmed by a large screen on their desktop.

Apple has sent out review samples of the new 27-inch Core-2 Duo iMac to a couple of sites and they wasted no time publishing some first impressions, and comparisons to the current 24-inch iMac. Full reviews are expected to be published today.

Apple did not make the new high-end quad-core Core i5 and Core i7 iMacs available for testing yet as they ship not now, but next month. Of course the Core i7 27-inch iMac is the new goal in life for many including me.
