The new Acer Aspire 5738DG 3D Windows 7 notebook already appeared in Europe, but was officially announced today in the United States. The Aspire 5738DG features the TriDef 3D solution, which includes a 3D screen, software and glasses to enable vibrant 3D visuals.

The new Acer Aspire 5738DG 3D notebook is available on Amazon.com for $779.99 and will start shipping tomorrow when Windows 7 officially launches.

The Aspire 5738DG features a 15.6-inch Acer CineCrystal HD display coated with a special 3D film which clings to the panel pixel by pixel, enabling the LCD technology to deliver a 3D image.
With a pair of included 3D polarizer eyeglasses, which filter 2D images to 3D, you can enjoy eye-popping, true cinematic high def playback of movies, video and games.
You can use the TriDef Media Player for playback of videos and photos in 3D, while the TriDef Ignition tool enables 2D to 3D conversion for games and applications supporting DirectX 9 and above.

Besides 3D the new Acer Aspire 5738DG Windows 7 notebook features include Intel Core 2 Duo processor T6600, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4570, 4GB RAM, 320GB HDD, card reader, Wifi 802.11n, webcam, Dolby optimized speakers, 8x DVD-Super Multi Double-layer drive, multi-gesture touchpad and 6-cell battery.

Besides the 3D novelty the Acer Aspire 5738DG is a solid Windows 7 Notebook.
