Envive has announced that it is now shipping the new TheaterStation Multi-zone digitalmedia management system. The system uses Centralized Networked storage for storing the media. The content can be viewed on connected TVs in different rooms.
The media system is compatible with Mac, Windows, and Linux computers and allows the computer to drag and drop files onto the central media server for viewing in different rooms. The system can be had in capacities of 4TB to 14TB and there is no need for a TheaterStation server.
The device supports up to 20 zones of independent audio and video. The system comes in both rack mount or tower configurations. Pricing for the systems is unknown at this time.

Kmart Black Friday
Black Friday is still a couple of months away, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t start getting prepared now. If you want to get in on the action in the best way possible it is important to have a good understanding...
The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.
The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
