Hey, UK gadget nerds, does the idea of a 4.3" capacitive touchscreen or a 1 GHz Snapdragon processor make you weak in the knees? If so, you might be interested in some news my Update Scanner just delivered; the HD2 is now available from Vodafone UK. (BGR) All of the reviews for this sweet new smartphone have been very complementary on the hardware. The OS, Windows Mobile 6.5, has taken a lot of flak however.
That said, this smartphone does run the HTC Sense UI over 6.5, which is supposed to deal with the bulk of most users WinMo complaints. It's a shame that such a gorgeous device has to be hobbled with such a mediocre OS, but life isn't fair. I'm still holding onto the hope that HTC will roll out the HTC Dragon, an Android-running HTC HD2, soon.
