The adorable Pleo robot dino is back. Today the new owners of the Pleo announced the relaunch of Pleo.
Innvo Labs Corporation, led by one of the original creators of the Ugobe Pleo, has relaunched the Pleoworld site and offers a slightly improved Pleo in time for the holiday shopping season.
The 2009 Pleo features Longer-lasting paint that stays colorful, more durable skin, so it won't wear out from you petting him, biodegradable packaging
and a better battery charger.
The Pleo dino is still rather expensive at $349.99. Amazon has the Pleo on sale today though, for $199.99. The only issue is, I cannot confirm if the Pleo on Amazon is the new improved 2009 Pleo or not. It is still listed under Ugobe. On Pleoworld the 2009 Pleo sells for $349. There is also a non U.S. version of Pleo available that ships internationally.
Innvo Labs Corporation will unveil new Pleo models at the CES 2010.
