So far reports of crowds going crazy for deals on Black Friday have not surfaced. Our own coverage on the ground at Best Buy and Walmart stores showed a lively but orderly shopping activity.
According to a new Reuters report the Black Friday 2009 turnout is seen stronger. If the shopper traffic will also result in great sales for retailers remains to be seen.
The crowd control measurements installed this year by retailers like Walmart seemed to have worked so far. The worst should be already over anyway.
