Gift Tip 25: JVC Picsio GC-FM1 Camcorder Is The Elegant Flip Alternative

Buy JVC Picsio from Amazon Cyber Monday and Black Friday Now

JVC has launched its first pocket sized flash memory camera, the new Picsio GC-FM1. The Picsio is designed for those who want a small, simple, camera that allows easy sharing and delivers high quality video and still images. No larger than the smallest cellular phone, the JVC Picsio GC-FM1 is designed to go anywhere to capture all your memories in stunning high-definition quality.

The JVC Picsio GC-FM1 shoots true 8-megapixel stills and 1080p Full HD video for outstanding results when viewed on an HDTV. Additionally, the JVC Picsio’s image stabilization reduces camera shake, even when the 4X digital zoom is used. The Picsio is fully capable of doing anything a full-sized camcorder can do, but at half the size.

The JVC Picsio GC-FM1 comes in three attractive colors: Black Ice, Blue Steel and Purple Passion. Designed for simplicity and ease of use, you won’t get bogged down in meaningless menus trying to find your favorite features. You can even send .mov file directly to YouTube. With 8-megapixel still image recording, 1080P/30fps HD Video Recording with 4x digital zoom, pictures and videos look like they came from a larger camera. Convenient USB battery charging, HDMI and AV output terminals and SD/SDHC card compatibility (up to 32GB) are the added advantages of this camcorder. A 2” color LCD monitor provides clear images as well.

What makes the JVC Picsio GC-FM1 enticing are its compact design, 1440-by-1080p HD video recording, 8-megapixel still-image capturing capability and HDMI output. Moreover macro mode, electronic image stabilization and SDHC cards accessing ability make it a dreamy device overall. The JVC Picsio GC-FM1’s flashy, reflective faceplate, ribbed silver edges, and colorful back panel are all made of very lightweight plastic, and the entire device feels too light and fragile to be durable. The buttons on the back are all plastic, as well, and they’re too small for anything but the smallest hands to use effectively. Overall, those are the biggest downsides to this otherwise great device.

Great Gift For
The JVC Picsio GC-FM1 is a great stylish gift for people who like nice things that also perform well.

Price and Where to Buy
The JVC Picsio GC-FM1 sells for around $170 on Amazon.com.
