The HTC Touch Pro2 is an eye-catching new smartphone. Running the latest Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional operating system (after upgrade), the HTC Touch Pro2 can do almost anything, from checking email, playing music, playing games, to sharing photos and videos.
The HTC Touch Pro2 features a fast and responsive resistive touch screen. Utilizing HTC's TouchFlo 3D interface, you now get tabs for your Calendar and Stock quotes, and fully customizable Home screen. Featuring a sharp, spacious touch screen and an easy-to-use full slide-out QWERTY keyboard, this smartphone makes snap replies to emails and text messages easy.
In addition to dual cameras and the HTC ExtUSB (11-pin mini-USB 2.0, audio jack, and TV Out in one), the HTC Touch Pro2 smartphone also includes conference call management tools for business users and offers good call quality. It has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS. At 4.57 inches tall by 2.33 inches wide by 0.68 inches thick and weighing only 6.61 ounces, the HTC Touch Pro2 packs a lot into a small frame.
The HTC Touch Pro2 is a bit heavy and bulky. The latest Windows Mobile 6.5 release did not get the best reviews, but for Windows fans the latest mobile OS
is 6.5. Windows Mobile 7 is coming sometime in 2010.
