The new headphones fold for storage and travel and include a carrying pouch. The noise-canceling tech that the headphones use to reduce sound is in an external adapter that is built into the cord allowing the headphones to remain very lightweight.
The design of the headphones allows them to work without batteries and with the noise cancellation features turned off. The device also ships with a 1.6-foot extension cord and an airliner adapter. Power is from an AAA battery and the headphones sell for $129.95 and will ship in January 2009.
