That is kind of surprising news, but the WSJ reports that PepsiCo will not advertise at the Super Bowl 2010. That's right, there will be no funny Pepsi Max Ad or Pepsi Taking over SNL at the Super Bowl 2010.
The reasons for Pepsi leaving Super Bowl 2010 to Coca Cola are new advertising concepts for their soft drinks that are cause-related.
Only Doritos, which also belongs to PepsiCo will advertise on Super Bowl 2010. We reported yesterday about the unique Doritos $5 million Crash The Super Bowl 2010 Contest.
Update:
Pepsi launches the Pepsi Refresh Project to support social and positive impact projects initiated by consumers.
Just like last year, we will be featuring our Super Bowl for Geeks Guide for the Super Bowl 2010. Of course the Super Bowl for Geeks Guide is all about the Super Bowl Ads and not the game.
